It's been a great week! School is done and that means that Esther is able to take a bit of a break from teaching and hopefully find time to relax a bit and do some yard work. She enjoys being outside, as do I. Anyhow, with visitors and so on, Abe Guenther is not part of this weeks program. We'll try getting together again next week.

So enjoy the news, the reflection and then story time with Fritz and Franz. This week I tell the story about the hand dug well at Greensburg, Kansas. I didn't know that there were some villages in Mexico that were named "Kaunsas Darpa". Enjoy the music too. I tried to find some songs that fit the story and stuff, so I hope you all have fun listening to it again.

This weeks news has a brief update on the Knelsen story from last week and that one leads right into another story which comes from Bolivia as well. The colony Nueva Esperanza, near San Jose de Chiquitos has run into some problems during the Pentecost weekend. A group of men decided to take matters into their own hands, catch some boys and make sure they got a good beating. Some ministers were in the group as well. And then news from Patrick in the Chaco, Artur in East Paraguay, Edward in Rio Verde, and so on. The news ended up being quite lengthy again.

I move right into the reflection and use another segment to talk about "Love in all Relationships". And from there I move to Fritz and Franz and talk about some issues raised by listeners, as well as a story sent to me by a listener. Not sure what kind of feedback I'll get, but feel free to send me an e-mail at the address noted to the left of this entry.

Thanks first of all to John Funk for fixing things up on the site, so that I am now able to upload the program from at home again. All week the weather was holding to the dry side, until Tuesday night. Wednesday all day it rained and rained, so much so, that the ditches are full of water again. I just came back from Altona and the fields of potatoes have water in the rows, everywhere. On CBC I heard that the City of Minot, ND had the sirens going and people are being evacuated. The city is expected to be flooded.

My voice is raspy and weak today, but I got the program together and I'm thankful to those who participated in doing some of the talking. Edward and Patrick from Paraguay, David from Bolivia, Abram from Texas and before I knew it, the half hour was full again. I thank God for providing material again and again.

Enjoy the show and feel free to write me at my e-mail address listed on the side of this page. Shalom to you all.

John, the web site administrator here. Carl had some difficulty getting the program uploaded so I'm doing it this week. I've discovered that we have published on this site for over a year now. Yay! This of course has been a year of many late night phone calls trying to get everything working right, and while it's been smooth these last few months, today we had another little road bump.

I think it's all cleared up, and I have the latest program uploaded to the site. you should be able to play it or download it as always.

Don't forget to check out the other areas of the site, and if you want to send a note to Carl, registered users can leave a comment, or you can email him direct. His email address is on the left side.

I hope you enjoy the program.
