1/2 brick cream cheese
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 Tbs. Cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. garam masala
pour this mix into frozen tart shells and bake for 15 minutes at 400°F
The tart will rise and look like it will overflow, but will sink and leave a depression that can be filled with whipped cream, or just eaten as is.
I threw this together using my mother's butter tarts as inspiration and my wife's love of chocolate as a motivation. I think they turned out well, and I've gotten some good reviews on the first batch.
